Welcome to PANKINGTON PUPPIES, home of the cockapoo.
PANKINGTON PUPPIES was founded over 40 years ago by Jolli King, who was a highly respected dog breeder, K/C approved judge at Champion show level (including Crufts), a qualified veterinary nurse and advanced dog groomer.Jolli was the first recognised breeder of cockerpoo in this country and correspondent for the breed with several top selling magazines in the UK.
PANKINGTON is renowned for its cockapoo puppies which make excellent pets. The cockapoo (cocker spaniel cross poodle) which at maturity should reach the heights of 13 to 15 inches at the shoulder and has a wavy coat. The most common colours are cream, apricot and black, and occasionally we produce bi-colours. They all have non-shedding coats and therefore make very suitable pets for familites who have sufferers of allergies or asthma. All PANKINGTON pedigree mummies and daddies have current eye test certificate under KC/BVA scheme. They are also Optigen (DNA) tested Prcd -PRA normal (progressive rod-cone degeneration of Progressive Retinal Atrophy) and all our Cocker Spaniels are Antagene DNA tested normal for FN (Familial Nephropathy) and AMS (Acrul Mutilation Syndrome).
Regular grooming is essential and four or five visits to a professional groomer per year would keep the coats in good order. We usually recommend that the cockapoos are kept in a 'teddy bear' type trim.
When Pankington Puppies are ready to go to their new homes at eight and a half weeks old, they will be:
- Veterinary Health check,
- Vaccinated (1st) DHPPI + LEPTO 2 with veterinary signed vaccination certificate,
- wormed every two weeks from two weeks old,
- Insured for 4 weeks with Pet Plan,
- Complimentary puppy play pen,
- Puppy pack including puppy food,
- have all relevant paperwork,
- guaranteed Prcd PRA / FN / +AMS / clear.
We like to build a lifelong relationship with our new puppy owners and will be there for our pups for the rest of their lives.
Pankington Homebred puppies are only occasionally available to very discerning and loving homes.
Due to the very tragic loss of her sister Jolli, Juliana (who has worked alongside Jolli for many years and who is also highly qualified) is continuing to keep Jolli's faultless reputation and top quality Bloodlines by reproducing one or two Cockapoo litters per year
